Executive Assistant
Provides primary administrative and analytic support to the Director.
Background
A native of Berkeley and graduate of the School of Business at U.C. Berkeley, Sandy worked at both IBM and AT&T before coming to work on campus. She has almost twenty years of advising experience at Berkeley, first at the School of Optometry and more recently at the Economics Department. She takes great pride in her two children, Sarah and Marc, their respective spouses, Erik Nidy and Luz Marina Tovar, and her grandchildren, Octavio and Santiago. In her free time she is a Docent at the Tilden Botanic Garden, ushers for Cal Performances, and loves to cook, read, knit and work in her garden.
