ASC Freshman Orientation

All University of California, Berkeley freshmen are required to attend an orientation before they can enroll in classes. We invite you to begin your Berkeley experience by participating in the ASC orientation for freshmen student athletes on the Berkeley campus.

Overview

Our one day freshmen orientation is packed with information sessions and activities.

• Review academic requirements, eligibility and academic planning.
  
• Introduce you to the advisors and staff from the ASC.
  
• Will be an opportunity for you to meet your peers and to ask questions about Cal.
  
• Advisors will assist you with course selection and guide you through the web enrollment system.
  
• You will be able to take advantage of early enrollment for student athletes and sign-up for courses before the rest of the incoming freshmen class.

This year's orientation was on: Sunday, May 31st, 2009.

What to do

If you are an incoming freshman, in the College of Letters & Science, and are planning to be a member of an Intercollegiate Athletics team, then please do the following:

• Submit our Orientation Reply Form.
• Review the General Information page.
• Review the Advising Preparation information.
