Student Athlete Honors Luncheon
Hosted by the Athletic Study Center and Intercollegiate Athletics, this event brings together faculty, staff and the community to celebrate and recognize student-athletes that have reached a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Degree Completion: Crossing the Finish Line
The ASC's Degree Completion Program is coordinated by Courtney Dolder and Derek Van Rheenen. It is a collaborative effort involving former student-athletes, college and major advisors, Intercollegiate Athletics, the Office of the Registrar, and often other post secondary institutions. The focus of the program is the completion of the matriculation process for former student-athlete who, for one reason or another, have had his or her academic career interrupted. Former student-athletes who have exhausted their eligibility without completing their degree requirements are welcomed to do so through the Degree Completion Program. The staff within the ASC will collaborate with the student-athlete to devise a re-entry and a specific academic plan towards graduation.
Enhancing the faculty/student-athlete relationship. Through this program, faculty member are paired with one of the university’s athletic teams to create a stronger faculty/athlete relationship and enhance the student-athlete ideal and continue on executing the educational mission of the university.

The KenDo Award recognizes the efforts made by student athletes who have earned advanced degrees since 1980. This list highlights the individuals’ names, sport he/she participated in, graduation year, type of degree, and the university from which they achieved a higher degree.
